CineMassive Displays, the leader in video wall and multi-monitor displays, announces a breakthrough in ultra-high-definition video walls with a system that renders over 28 million pixels at 27 times normal high-definition. The entire system is controlled via an iPad with a custom user interface.
The new system, built in Louisville, KY, renders a total active resolution of 2,304 x 12,240 in a 3x9 ultra-slim video wall. The wall is curved and freestanding (it will eventually be recessed into a finished millwork trim), creating a highly immersive feel that is perfect for a host of applications, including modeling and stimulation, command and control, visualization, and digital signage.
Says Robert Kaufman, Partner at CineMassive Displays, “This video wall opens a new horizon in ultra-high-definition systems. It delivers cutting-edge HD visualization with what is probably the most user-friendly, flexible and intuitive system ever designed.”
The iPad allows diagnostic feedback and control of the video wall and the Alpha and Bravo controllers. It also allows the user to queue up, play, pause, fast forward, and load Web content, or position content from the external source inputs freely on the video wall.
System highlights
- Powered by CineMassive Alpha Elite Video Wall Controller with twin Bravo content rendering engines
- Content can be pre-rendered or captured and displayed from peripherals such as laptops, desktops, Xbox, etc.
- CineMassive push / pull scissor mount allows any display to individually telescope in and out of the wall for easy maintenance or repair
- Full 5.1 audio system enhances immersion and is also controlled from the iPad
