Ultra High-Defintion 49 MegaPixel Visualization Wall
EarthWater Global, USA |
Customer:
EarthWater Global locates, develops and manages previously overlooked, large-scale, sustainable groundwater resources. EarthWater has developed and demonstrated a revolutionary concept of how fresh water is transmitted through tectonic fractures in bedrock and stored in ""Megawatersheds".
EarthWater locates, develops and manages previously overlooked Megawatershed resources on a zero-risk, fully-financed basis (without ever taking ownership of land or groundwater).
Challenge:
EarthWater Global’s research is extremely data and graphics intensive. We needed a visualization solution that would allow us to, access, manipulate and interpret enormous sets of ultra high resolution satellite imagery in real-time using GIS, Google Earth and a variety of industrial-grade mapping tools. The system needed to be easy to use and function well from a distance and show incredible detail up close.
CineMassive Solution:
CineMassive Displays built and installed an over 49 Megapixel visualization wall and controller powered by a single Windows Vista based server, a completely unprecedented achievement. The familiar Windows environment made the wall easy enough for anyone to use and also ensured compatibility with the ArcGIS mapping software. CineMassive preconfigured the visualization system with custom interface enhancements to make it easier for the system to be used at full resolution. CineMassive Displays technicians went onsite to install the system and provide first hand training.
CineMassive Displays conceptualized, built, tested, delivered and installed this ultra high definition 49 Million Pixel Video Wall in 2 weeks. Designed for a cutting edge resource exploration firm, the system is among the most powerful Windows-based ultra high definition visualization workstations in existence.
